Cancellation Policy - VillaCarros

Conditions applicable to the cancellation of stays at VillaCarros

This Cancellation Policy aims to clearly and transparently define the conditions applicable in the event of a reservation cancellation at VillaCarros. It applies in addition to the Terms & Conditions and the House Rules.

1) General principle

Any reservation made at VillaCarros involves holding an accommodation for a specific period. As such, cancellation conditions are defined to ensure a fair balance between flexibility for the guest and proper organization for the host.

2) Direct bookings (VillaCarros website)

• Cancellation up to thirty (30) days before the arrival date (D‑30 inclusive): full refund.

• Cancellation between D‑30 and D‑7 before the arrival date: 50% refund of the total stay amount.

• Cancellation from seven (7) days before the arrival date: non‑refundable.

• Stay already started: the full stay is due.

3) Bookings via third‑party platforms (Airbnb, Booking.com, etc.)

When a reservation is made through a third‑party platform, that platform’s own cancellation policy applies.

In the event of a discrepancy between the policy displayed on the platform and VillaCarros’ policy:

• the platform’s rules prevail for cancellation and refund conditions,

• VillaCarros’ rules remain applicable for the conduct of the stay.

4) Reservation modifications

Any request to modify a reservation (dates, length of stay, accommodation) is subject to availability and must be submitted in writing. A modification may result in a revision of the initial rate and does not constitute an automatic cancellation.

5) Cancellation by VillaCarros

In the event of exceptional circumstances or force majeure preventing the reception of guests (major breakdown, damage, unforeseen event), VillaCarros undertakes to:

• propose an alternative solution when possible, or

• provide a full refund of all amounts paid.

No additional compensation may be claimed.

6) Cancellation insurance

Guests are advised to take out cancellation insurance covering personal or professional unforeseen events. VillaCarros cannot be held responsible for the financial consequences of a cancellation falling under non‑refundable conditions.

7) Application and acceptance

The applicable cancellation conditions are those in force at the time of booking. Reservations made prior to an update of this policy remain subject to the conditions accepted at the time of booking confirmation. Confirmation of the reservation constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of this Cancellation Policy.
