House Rules - VillaCarros
For a peaceful, harmonious stay that respects everyone
Welcome to VillaCarros. Thank you for choosing our villa for your stay. These House Rules are designed to ensure comfort, tranquility, safety and mutual respect among all guests, while preserving the Mediterranean spirit and softness of the property.
By confirming your reservation, you accept all rules below. Please read them carefully before your arrival.
1) General information
Address: 1221 Route Jean Natale, 06510 Carros. The villa hosts several independent accommodations; some areas are shared. If you have any questions, we are available via phone, SMS or WhatsApp.
2) Arrival & departure
Check-in: from 4:00 p.m. Please do not arrive earlier without prior agreement. For safety and to ensure a smooth arrival, an ID matching the reservation name may be requested.
Keys: a set of 4 keys is provided:
1 key for your accommodation
1 key for the villa’s pedestrian gate
2 keys for the waste containers located at the property entrance Lost keys will be charged.
Check-out: before 11:00 a.m., to allow preparation for the next guests.
3) Capacity & visitors
The accommodation is reserved for the guests listed in the booking. Occasional visitors (maximum 2 people) are allowed during the day only and must be announced in advance (in person or by message). Visitor access to the pool is not permitted by default and requires a specific request and explicit confirmation from the owners.
4) Life in the villa (during your stay)
To preserve your comfort and ensure optimal preparation for future guests:
Respect for equipment & furnishings All equipment, accessories and utensils provided in your accommodation must remain there. Furniture layout and the placement of accessories must not be modified. If an item is exceptionally moved (e.g., for a shared meal), please return it exactly to its original place.
Normal upkeep Please maintain the accommodation reasonably and regularly (ventilation, basic cleanliness, careful use of equipment).
Optional mid-stay housekeeping A paid housekeeping service can be booked upon request during your stay, particularly suitable for longer stays.
5) What we ask at check-out
To help prepare the accommodation for the next guests:
Dishes: washed, clean and put away.
Tidiness: leave the accommodation in a reasonable condition; return accessories/equipment to their original place.
Waste: empty bins into the containers at the villa entrance.
Safety: switch off unnecessary lights/equipment; close doors and windows.
6) Pool & outdoor areas
The pool and garden are shared spaces.
Hours: daytime access only. Night access is not allowed unless agreed.
Food & drinks: allowed, provided the area remains clean.
Safety: terrace parasols must be closed when you are away and whenever wind is present or forecast. Glass is discouraged around the pool.
7) Behaviour & quietness
VillaCarros is a calm and relaxing place. Please avoid excessive noise, especially after 10:00 p.m., and respect neighbors and other guests. Nudity is strictly prohibited in outdoor areas, including the pool and garden.
8) Smoking
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the accommodations. It is allowed on your terrace or near the pool using the provided ashtrays (please empty them regularly). For fire-safety reasons, smoking is prohibited in vegetated garden areas.
9) Pets
Pets are not allowed unless exceptionally agreed.
10) Safety
Close doors and windows when leaving. Turn off unnecessary lights and electrical devices. Supplemental heaters are prohibited. Parasols must always be closed when absent and whenever wind is present or forecast. Any abnormal, dangerous or improper use of equipment may result in charges or retention from the security deposit. VillaCarros is not responsible for loss or theft of personal belongings left unattended.
11) Shared laundry
Located under the covered terrace.
Washing machine: reserved for guests; please use short programs and avoid running machines early morning or late evening.
Drying: outdoor racks are available; drying laundry inside the accommodation is not allowed; a large dryer can be provided upon request for bulky items.
12) Sanitary rules
Only toilet paper may be flushed. A bin is available for all other waste. Please avoid clogging drains.
13) Waste management
Two bins are provided in your accommodation, corresponding to the containers at the villa entrance:
Yellow: packaging, cardboard, plastics
Black: household waste Please sort properly and dispose of bags regularly.
Glass: do not put glass in the accommodation bins. Please set it aside; glass containers are available at the Carros village parking.
14) Parking
One private parking space is reserved for your accommodation, located immediately to the right of the white pedestrian gate at the property entrance. Please park diagonally to leave enough space for the neighboring spot. Large vehicles (campervans, trucks, large vans) are not allowed in private spaces and must park only along Route Jean Natale without blocking traffic or neighboring access.
15) Security deposit & damages
Bank imprint: automatically released within 7 days after departure. Charged deposit: refunded within 7 days by bank transfer. Any damage, serious disturbance or breach of the rules may result in retention or immediate termination without refund.
16) Cancellation, troubleshooting & assistance
No refund is possible within 7 days before the start of the stay, in accordance with our cancellation policy. The full stay is due once begun. If you encounter any issue, please contact us promptly; we will intervene within 48 hours when possible.
