Rental Terms & Conditions — VillaCarros
Terms and conditions applicable to VillaCarros accommodation rentals
These Terms & Conditions define the rental rules applicable to VillaCarros’ furnished accommodations, located at 1221 Route Jean Natale, 06510 Carros (France). Any booking implies full acceptance of these Terms & Conditions as well as the House Rules.
1) Purpose of the contract
These terms govern seasonal rentals at VillaCarros, strictly for temporary stays, excluding any use as a primary residence.
2) Booking & payment
A booking becomes firm once payment is validated according to the terms indicated at the time of reservation (deposit or full payment).
Rates include:
- the accommodation rental,
- the equipment described in the listing,
- end-of-stay cleaning,
- and tourist tax (when applicable).
Optional services (mid-stay cleaning, specific services) are not included and may incur additional charges.
3) Security deposit
A security deposit may be requested via bank imprint or by being charged.
It is intended in particular to cover:
- damages,
- lost keys,
- serious disturbances,
- non-compliance with the House Rules,
- and any abnormal or improper use of equipment.
The deposit is released within seven (7) days after departure, minus any amounts due.
4) Cancellation
The applicable cancellation conditions are detailed on the dedicated page Cancellation Policy — VillaCarros, available on the website.
As a summary:
- stays are fully refundable up to a certain period before the arrival date,
- a partial refund may apply up to seven (7) days before arrival,
- no refund is possible within the seven (7) days prior to arrival, nor once the stay has begun.
The exact conditions that apply are those in force at the time of booking.
5) Check-in & check-out
Check-in and check-out times communicated during the reservation must be strictly respected.
An identity check may be requested upon arrival.
Any unauthorized late check-out may incur additional charges.
6) Use of the premises
Guests agree to:
- occupy the premises peacefully and with care;
- respect the House Rules;
- not exceed the maximum capacity;
- not organize parties or events;
- not sublet or transfer the rental.
In case of serious non-compliance, VillaCarros reserves the right to interrupt the stay without refund.
7) Liability & insurance
Guests are responsible for any damage caused during their stay.
A holiday rental insurance ("assurance villégiature") covering rental risks is recommended.
VillaCarros declines responsibility in case of :
- loss or theft of personal belongings,
- accidents resulting from improper use of equipment,
- or damage to personal property or vehicles parked on the premises.
8) Optional services
Additional services may be offered upon request, including :
- mid-stay housekeeping
- or specific services.
These are subject to availability and billed separately.
9) Internet & digital equipment
Internet access is provided free of charge as a courtesy.
It cannot give rise to any compensation in case of outage, interruption, or reduced speed.
Users agree to comply with applicable laws.
10) Safety
For safety reasons, it is prohibited in particular :
- to use personal electrical appliances that are not provided or not compatible,
- to smoke inside the accommodations,
- or to disregard instructions related to equipment and outdoor areas.
Any dangerous or improper use is under the guest’s responsibility.
11) Children
The accommodations and outdoor areas are not specifically adapted for young children.
Parents or legal guardians remain solely responsible for supervision and safety.
12) Platform-specific conditions
When booking via a third-party platform (Airbnb, Booking.com, etc.), that platform’s conditions apply in addition to these Terms.
In case of contradiction: platform rules prevail for booking, payment and cancellation; VillaCarros rules prevail for stay conditions.
13) Force majeure
Neither party may be held responsible in case of force majeure preventing the stay (natural disaster, fire, major outage, etc.).
14) Disputes
In case of dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first.
Failing agreement, the matter will be brought before the competent courts within the jurisdiction of Nice.
15) Acceptance
Booking confirmation constitutes full acceptance of these Terms & Conditions and the House Rules.
